Update : Bumper Roulette:
St. Louis, Missouri, April 17 – The "spirit of New Orleans" remains a spirit tonight, as I am in a holding pattern in St. Louis. I am stuck here a few hundred miles up the Mississippi, as I was bumped from my flight and repatriation with the group. I will be a late arrival for Tuesday's first show in Mississippi. I may be in St. Louis, but thanks to the airline all of my luggage – toothbrush and all – is already in New Orleans.

Oh, Barbara.... what an interesting beginning to your trip. My only advice is to go shopping. Nothing fixes being stuck somewhere like turning it into an adventure and getting a memento to mark the occasion. When someone compliments you on your purchase, you get to reply "Oh, thank you, dahling. It's my stuck-in-St.-Louis scarf. That was a blast!"
