YES! Magazine just reviewed our book Getting to the Heart of Interfaith: The Eye-Opening, Hope-Filled Friendship of a Pastor, a Rabbi & a Sheikh in their Spring 2010 issue.

In the book we describe the stages in interfaith dialogue that we have identified in our work.

There is also an excerpt for you to read. The chapter "Honoring the Spirit" captures a moment in my church when I invited Ted and Jamal to share in the sacrament of communion by holding the bread. The moment described here represents one of the most meaningful moments we have experienced in our interfaith work.

Don Mackenzie bio pic Pastor Don Mackenzie retired in June of 2008 as Minister and Head of Staff of University Congregational United Church of Christ in Seattle. Previously, he served congregations in Hanover, New Hampshire, and Princeton, New Jersey.
