Join the community of folks worldwide who, for 20 years now, have consciously refrained from buying anything the day after Thanksgiving, a day notorious for and synonymous with a culture of over-consumption. Considering the economical and environmental crises the world presently faces, organizers are asking participants to take things a step farther this year: to refrain from consuming at all. Turn off lights, appliances, TVs, cars, phones, computers and turn on a new mentality that promotes a planet and people first lifestyle.
