In response to the twin crises of global economic collapse and climate change facing humanity, a group of internationally known speakers headed by Noam Chomsky will join academics, activists and visionary thinkers from the Northwest region to explore what can be done to make the positive changes needed – at both the community and international level – to move forwards. Additional featured speakers include YES! co-founder and board chair, David Korten, Alternative Radio host David Barsamian, media critic Danny Schecter, author Derrick Jensen, author Barbara Garson, and Oregon Action's Jo Ann Bowman.
