What can you learn about a family by examining the things they’ve left behind?
Trash-Out is filmed through the perspective of a company cleaning out a foreclosed house. Through this film and its accompanying lesson, your students will learn about the steps in the foreclosure process and about foreclosure rates in your local area. The short documentary by filmmaker Maria Fortiz-Morse is part of PBS’s program, “POV,” a showcase for independent, non-fiction film.
