ShareThe YES! National Student Writing Competition gives students the chance to write for a real audience and be published by an award-winning magazine. Each quarter, students will have the opportunity to read and respond to a selected YES! Magazine article.
For Spring 2011, participants read and responded to YES! article, “Blessings Revealed”
by Puanani Burgess. Congratulations to our essay winners: Middle

Yazdani (Global Village School), and College/University—Tim Hefflinger
(Appalachian State University, Boone, NC); and Powerful Voice—Bronson
