Fallen Fruit

In the neighborhoods of Los Angeles, citizens are beginning to make use of public land. Fallen Fruit is an art collaboration that began creating maps of public fruit: the fruit trees growing on or over public property in Los Angeles.
Their goal is to make use of urban space as well as create a sense of community among neighbors. Recent activities include Fruit Jams, a day where people bring homegrown or public fruit a join in communal jam-making festivities.
