Grizzly bears are a threatened species in British Columbia. The Nature Conservancy of Canada works to protect the movement corridors this species needs throughout British Columbia to ensure the genetic integrity of subpopulations.

Rainforest Logging Shutdown in BC
The British Columbia logging company MacMillan Bloedel announced January 8, 1997, that it is shutting down its logging operations in the Clayoquot Sound rainforest, BC.
