Wandering around Burning Man offers countless opportunities for spontaneity. Here, for example, is “The Green Duck,” whose sign reads: “Needs feathers! Write message on cloth, tie cloth to Duck, enter Duck, RELAX!, be reborn as an Egg.” It was unattended, so Burners could partake in this ritual without an audience.
