The Music Is You: A Tribute to John Denver

It’s pleasing, if not surprising, to hear Old Crow Medicine Show doing "Back Home Again" and Lucinda Williams on "This Old Guitar." Dave Matthews reimagines "Take Me To Tomorrow," and Amos Lee makes something gorgeous out of "Some Days Are Diamonds."

Jake Bugg

Hurry! Listen to Country Song while Bugg’s still a teenager. His sound is infectious and singular, but strangely familiar. This must be how people felt when they first heard Dylan-Cash-Beatles-Holly.

Beethoven For All

A comprehensive set of Beethoven concerti, sonatas, and symphonies performed by Israeli pianist Daniel Barenboim and the West Eastern Divan Orchestra, which is made up of Arab-Israeli youth. Barenboim, active in global peacemaking, believes "Beethoven’s music speaks to all people."
