Brett Dennen's Empathy Song

Musician Brett Dennen sings about empathy, not entropy, for the Mosaic Project, a nonprofit outdoor education program focused on building positive relationships based on respect.

The Mosaic Project is based on the idea that if children begin to exhibit prejudice between 2 1/2 and 8 years old, we need to reach them early, before prejudices are entrenched.

At Mosaic, elementary school students from diverse backgrounds come together at a unique outdoor school that focuses on building positive relationships based on respect.

Brett Dennen, the program's "resident rock star," created the Mosaic Project's musical curriculum. Dennen became involved with the project while still in college. He now serves on the project's board.
