Without allowing happiness within ourselves, all the stuff in the world won't make us happy. Matthieu Ricard, author of "This is Your Brain on Bliss" in YES! Magazine's Winter 2009 issue, spoke to the TED conference in 2004. He spoke about how meditation can transform our minds so that outside influences do not disturb the tranquility within.
