This video is part of Kitchen Gardeners International's Eat the View! campaign to convert part of the White House lawn into an edible landscape.

It features KGI founder, Roger Doiron, digging a new vegetable garden on his "white house" lawn with a request to President Obama to do the same with his which is actually ours anyway.

Can we dig this new garden and inspire a nation? Yes, we can!

Farmers Amanda Fuller and Justin Mog had the same idea as the Eat the View organizers and sent the Obama's this letter of application.

Eat the View is coordinated by Kitchen Gardeners International, a Maine-based 501c3 nonprofit network of 10,000 gardeners from 100 countries who are inspiring and teaching more people to grow some of their own food. Find out more at www.eattheview.org
