Code Pink in Afghanistan

Document Actions

In September of 2009, nine members of Code Pink traveled to Afghanistan to talk with local women about their experiences with war. "After eight years of U.S. military presence, Afghan women told us more troops will just mean more civilian deaths and more Taliban," says Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin. "Afghan women want peace talks and economic development, not endless war."
