“The relationship between civil rights, community organizing, self-expression and the law grows increasingly murky and intimidating, segmenting our society rather than creating a safe space for communities to come together. I Am Crime touches on issues of equity—who gets to break the law, when, and why.”
Lex Leifheit, SOMArts Executive Director

SOMArts Cultural Center presents I Am Crime: Art on the Edge of Law, an exhibition of more than 20 artists and collectives who—through visual art, video, performance, workshops, and film—challenge, question or circumvent the law through their work.
