Green Festival 2010

YES Green Fest Photo by Kaitlin BaileyThe Green Festival is hosted in four major cities, Seattle, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and Chicago each year. It is a joint project between Global Exchange and Green America offering sustainable ideas and solutions to make our lives and communities healthier.

Green Festival is the largest sustainability event in the world featuring authors, educators, films, organic food and wines, and how-to workshops. There are over 350 eco-friendly businesses on hand to display their products and offer information and advice.

YES! Magazine was part of the festivities, featuring books, magazines, and tote bags for sale. Staff, interns, and volunteers all participated in the event, educating visitors about the YES! organization.
