The Beaver Solution: Beaver Dams Instead of Concrete Dams

beaver, illustration by LandsCouncilWhat is the beaver solution? It is an alternative to concrete dams in areas with little summer rain.

Beavers will build dams which store water in the wet season, and then slowly release it, increasing water flow in creeks well into the late summer.
