<p><span id="internal-source-marker_0.5776953643653542">Last March, the Occupy National Gathering Working Group drafted a proposal for a National Gathering of the Occupy Movement. Since then,105 Occupations from across the country have signed on in solidarity.</span></p>
<p>From June 30th to July 4th, the Occupy movement will convene the Occupy National Gathering in the vicinity of Philadelphia’s Independence Mall for a week of direct actions, movement building and the creation of a vision for a democratic future.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The National Gathering will kick off with a massive march with Healthcare-Now! in solidarity with their fight for the right to health. &nbsp;On July 5th the gathering will conclude by joining Guitarmy for a 99 mile march from Philadelphia to Wall Street in Lower Manhattan.</p>

<p>City Repair's Village Building Convergence is an annual ten-day 
placemaking festival that combines crowdsourced activism, creative 
community development, hands-on education and celebration.</p>

 together to create benches, community kiosks, gardens, street 
paintings, tile mosaics, and more! Come join like-minded placemakers as they 
bring to life the natural building, permaculture, and public art 
projects that they’ve been planning for the last 4 months. Learn 
valuable skills for urban sustainability and social regeneration while 
celebrating the creativity and diversity of the wonderful city of Portland!</p>

 involved with creative, community designed placemaking projects 
happening all over the city. There will be building, gardening, art, and
 many other fun things to do and great people doing them with you! This
