Join YES! Magazine and Move to Amend Kitsap for a grassroots forum on ending corporate personhood and the work being done to overturn Citizens United. The event will feature YES! Magazine publisher Fran Korten as the keynote speaker, as well as presentations by Reverend Dee Eisenhauer of the Eagle Harbor Congregational Church and Steve Hamm, a Move to Amend organizer from Port Townsend.

Move to Amend Kitsap hopes to build on the momentum coming from the people of Port Townsend, who unanimously passed a resolution through their City Council affirming that money is not speech and corporations are not people. Event organizers aim to raise awareness of Move to Amend’s campaign, draw in community support, and encourage the Bainbridge City Council to pass a comparable resolution.
