Maddie Kornfeld

is a summer intern at InsideClimate News. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree at the Newmark School of Journalism in New York City, where she focuses on climate change reporting and investigative reporting. When Covid-19 hit New York, she joined a group of fellow Newmark students to develop and run a news site dedicated to local coverage of the pandemic. Her writing for the site mainly focused on the intersection of the pandemic and the environment.
