<h1>YES! On Air: A Year Later, Fewer Deportations in Cities That Adopted “Welcoming” Policies</h1>

<p><span><a href="http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2018/02/08/ice-arrests-went-up-in-2017-with-biggest-increases-in-florida-northern-texas-oklahoma/" target="_self" title="" rel="noopener noreferrer">A study found</a> that in places where local governments collaborate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, deportations have increased more than 75 percent. In New Mexico they’ve found a different way.&nbsp;<span>There is proof that sanctuary policies are working, keeping residents safer than in places that collaborate with ICE tactics.
