reprint of graphic

I thought your comment indicated that this article could be reproduced with a citation of the source. It is primarily a graphic, so I'm not sure I understand the distinction. But, it seems you are saying I need to email reprints@yesmagazine.org to receive permission to reprint one of the graphics above in a print publication?

use of your multiplier effect graphic

I am not clear if you are saying a for profit company may not use your graphic on their site, OR if you are saying anyone can use the graphic as long as full credit is given and they don't try to sell the graphic.

Please explain as I am not a non-profit organization but I want to create a buy local page on my site and use your graphic, placing a link back to Yes Magazine with full credit for the graphic of course.

Raw Shakti Chocolate - Buy Local!

Buy local! We are proud to share that the city of Asheville has its very own “buy local” campaign initiated by the Asheville Grown Business Alliance. You may have seen the logo – “Love Asheville, Put Your $ Where Your Heart Is.” As a locally-owned business based here in Asheville, we see the value of keeping our money in the local economy. As shown in this article, for every $1 spent at a local business, 45 cents is reinvested locally. In contrast, for every $1 spent at a corporate chain, only 15 cents is reinvested locally. Findings by researchers and organizations show the profound economic impact of keeping money local and how the fate of many cities and communities increasingly depends on keeping money local. If you are interested in reading more about the local economy, we suggest you check out BALLE, the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies.

Please support your local community and buy local when possible!
