YES! Media’s food justice coverage makes clear that the problems in our food system cannot be solved with individual dietary choices or grocery shopping habits. We recognize the gross inequities that prevent too many people from having access to food that’s nutritious, sustainably produced, and culturally relevant. As the massive amount of food waste in the U.S. makes clear, food justice is issue an issue of inequitable distribution as much as it is about unsustainable production.
