I hope to inspire people to want to change, to cut off their plastic usage little by little.
Where I live in New Delhi, and throughout India, plastic bags are banned. The government is trying to make people aware through campaigns, yet people still use them; vegetable sellers and shop owners hand out plastic bags to customers. I hope to inspire people to want to change, to cut off their plastic usage little by little. My illustrations feature a tiny deep-sea diver wandering through the ocean world and discovering the destruction caused by plastic. He sees the culprits behind it all: big companies like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nestlé. And he raises important questions: Why do the oceans have to suffer for endless plastic production? Why can’t we just stop consuming these products?
